Halloween

We had a fun Halloween. All my life of living in Utah I never remember Trick-or-Treating in short sleeve shirts. It was so warm it made it really nice for the kids they didn't get to cold and want to go home, the only thing is they didn't want to stop. Kaleb was a vampire, which really surprised me. I thought for sure he would want to be Optimus Prime with how much he loves Transformers. Ryan wanted to be an Army man with a gun. That didn't surprise me a whole lot he is getting into G.I. Joe's lately. Tony was a man in a jacket. My creative husband. The kids got a lot of candy and we are still eating it.

Aquarium

Tony had won tickets to the Living Planet Aquarium. It was really cool they had a section of the fish that live in Utah then they had a section of the fish that live in the ocean. The Utah side was neat getting to see some of the different fish that are in our state. The ocean life was my favorite they had jelly fish, nemo fish, sting rays, and sharks. There was this giant octopus that was awesome. Ryan was scared to stand by the glass so Tony had to stand next to him. Kaleb wasn't scared at all. I swear that kid is scared of nothing. Both the boys wouldn't pet the sting rays. They thought they would bite or something. The only thing is I thought the building would be bigger. But we still had fun!

Backyard Fun

Kaleb loves going into the back yard and looking for pets. He finds all sorts of bugs, worms, snails, potato bugs, and what ever a little boy can find. One afternoon after school Kaleb ventured out side to play. Next thing I knew he opened the door "Mom, mom come see the pet snake I found." Yes I said snake. So I got up and sure enough he was holding a snake. "Can I keep it." He asked. I had to tell him no that it was a wild snake and we should keep them as pets. The fun things boys find.

Gardner Village

When Michelle and Rusty were in town we went to Gardner Village to see the witches. It was the first time I have ever been there. I was just Michelle, Hyrum, Hannah, Tanna, Jade, Myself, Kaleb, and Ryan. The kids had a lot of fun walking around and looking at all the different witches on display. While I was waiting for Tanna and Michelle to show up the boys made their own broom sticks to fly on. I was fun getting to see Michelle and the kids.

OOUCH!!

One September afternoon Kaleb went out to ride his bike with Ryan and his cousin Adam. Later he came and told his Aunt Andrea "Andrea Ryan and Adam are throwing rocks." So Ryan and Adam had to clean up their mess and come in. Kaleb later came in screaming and crying. Well there was a small rock on the side walk and fell and hit his head on a bigger rock. The side of his face was swollen and had road rash and a lot of bruising. He kept dozing off so I knew he had a concussion. So off to the emergency room we went. Luckily he did not break any of his facial bones, the doctor confirmed that he did have a concussion. So I took him home. I work start working at 6:30am so my sister in law Andrea sent me a pix message of Kaleb's face. Telling me that it was twice as swollen and his eye was almost swollen shut. I called our Family Doctor and he said to take him back to the ER. I called Tony and he said that he would go pick him up and take him to work with him so he could keep an eye on him till I could get off work and take him back to the ER. Well when Tony got home took one look at him he rushed him to the ER. That's when we found out that he started to get a staff infection in his face. Oh what FUN!! The antibiotic worked and his face healed just fine with no scaring.
